Picture This actually followed through when a Cork couple asked them to play their wedding

RISING IRISH BAND Picture This has form in the past for turning up to weddings unexpectedly and putting on a show for their fans.

Word must be getting around about their generosity because at an event put on by Cork’s Red FM last year, a listener called Aine took her chance during a Q&A with the band to ask would they sing at her wedding.

And sure enough last weekend, the lads showed up and played Take My Hand as the couple’s first song

Sound.

You could see their reaction when Aine asked the question… and then she reminded them that they were actually playing the Marquee in Cork at this exact time of year

So they needed to check with their management – but on principle they were grand to play

And they banged it out in Farranree Church in Cork for the couple, following through on that promise made last year
